Apache county zoning 3

In article 25 and section 2505. This section is about manufactured homes. Suffice it to say that Apache county is going to begin some very stringent controls of manufactured homes. This will cause some serious monetary issues for someone wanting to move into the area. As well as when someone wants to sell their property. If you have a 20 year old manufactured home on your land and you want to sell, what happens now, do you have to drag the home off and sell the land alone?
The things that caught my eye were as follows: The manufactured home must be 15 years old or newer; No manufactured homes in any Rural Estate zoning; No metal siding on manufactured homes; Skirting must all be concrete block or some kind of masonry;The roof must have a 4:12 pitch, (which is 4 inches of rise for each 12 inches of run) and at least a 12 inch overhang; Must have a porch (dimensions to be found in the ordinance) and a 2 car garage or carport!
On the age of the home, I could see if they were wanting them to be from some particular year because the building requirements were more strict from that year on, FOR SAFETY! But when they say 15 years old or newer that means they only want NEW stuff in THEIR county.
The other thing that really floored me was the thing about having to have a porch and a two car garage or carport. And I think we will find that they don’t want us outside working on our vehicles anymore.
